The FUNdamentals of Play

You may hear the word “play” and immediately think of children. If I were to be more specific and say “adult play” then your head may instantly think of immature adults goofing around, but that is not the case! Amid the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, it’s essential that time is made for leisurely activities. Play is as an activity that is open-ended fun and does not need a specific goal. All too often, we get caught up in competitive play as adults.

I want to break down how play helps you grow and the benefits of making time for play.

Play can be as simple as infusing humor into your work day, having a toy or two on your desk to fiddle with, or having a fun activity at work.
